    Encouragement

A lot of it this weekend and more a few seconds ago after reading this (you may need to login to Facebook and add brian as friend lol) note. People from the likes of Jeremiah Aja (From Wilmore,With Love, Sarah Spezia (News from the Coast), and more... Celeste, Brian, Buck, Adam and Liza all of whom I was graced by their presence this weekend.

Friday I was able to stop by, the mid-year Sky-Mountain UBER-Nighter and just be completely immersed in the joy of seeing true fellowship among the area Wesleyan Churches. Like Chad Kelley said, "I've been praying for this for years!" It was amazing to see over 250 students come out to an all nighter from all over Nor. CA to come hang out and unite! Jeremiah (Speaker at Camp 2009!) layed out a message of love for anyone to embrace. Truly a gifted speaker who has such a deep passion for Jesus, it seeps from his core and out into any interaction. It's funny because I haven't seen Jeremiah in over 2 years and through blogging and facebook it feels like were just catching up for the past week. Thank you for your encouragement in my hermit experiment. Adam Cappa came all the way out from Indiana to invite all into a personal area of worship with Jesus. It was so nice to see all of the familiar faces.

I was really caught off-guard when a lady I hadn't seen in a few months and I had been catching up and suddenly she says " I really feel like we should pray for these kids right now." I love when Jesus challenges us to be spontaneous in our faith. So we prayed. What an experience.

With the books, work and photography piling up, nights like these are a true escape for me. I'm grateful for each and every interaction I had that night. Sarah and I were able to discuss the aches and pains of adjusting to the college life on her end and the community college life here. It's so refreshing to bounce thoughts and feelings around and get a real time response : D.

Sunday I was even more blessed to attend arcade and here Jeremiah lay out yet another message of the greatest Love ever known. A radical who changed the face of humanity forever. Jesus Christ.

Just this night, I felt completely overwhelmed with this Marketing class and all the work it entails, but Christ is faithful. He is here with me, pushing me forward, whispering "press on..." "keep going..." through various friends and notes. Thank you Jesus.

    best,
