Apparently peeling potatoes is in my job description.

Anthony's got a nickname from some regular's at the Press Club apparently. He was walking home and this girl yells, "Ricky! Ricky!". He looks around and finds out she's talking to him. He asks about the name and the girl explains that they see him walking by most days and everyone calls him Ricky because they think he's got good fashion sense. Pretty funny way to meet new people.
Anyhow, I've been trying my hand at fashion lately, I've always been a fan of fashion (though not extremely fashionable myself) and it's something I'd enjoy shooting more often. I've made it a new year's resolution to update my wardrobe this year, the uniform of white v-necks and jeans needs some help. So this is practice, what do you think?
Kyle. The new roommate.I follow the prepidemic mag and they're tagline is:
"Celebrate Style, Revere Refinement"
That was my vision for this one. Kyle's a stylish dude, and just an all around rad roommate to have.
I know Corrie through my friend Chris from high school. We played in jazz band together. Anyhow Corrie is graduating this year and we shot her senior portraits today.
She was an awesome model, super relaxed and easy to photograph. This was probably my favorite from the day.

Good old friend of mine since 7th grade. We had some leftovers from Cinco de Kyle so Rob grilled them up. He burnt them.
I moved this week to a new house (still downtown and close) and I got some new roommates. Here's the first of a series on them. Meet Matt.
Matt and I met in high school and played in a few bands together. We then both got addicted to World of Wacrack, I got clean, he still plays.
Matt's awesome, probably one of the funniest guys I know when he leaves his room :).
I work the graveyard shift so technically this is day 140 but I have an idea for an actual portrait today, so this will be 139.
I work overnight and get to hear the nice lull of the freeway and streets while I work. I thought I'd put myself to work.
After trying things out with my telephoto, I thought I'd go wide with my 24-70 and this is the result. This photo was a ton of patience actually, just waiting for the cars to pass at the same time on the freeway and intersection. It worked out.
In light of Macramento, Ted Shred, Lucky Lefty's, BFF, and a slew of other sponsors put on a trick jam, sprint, etc extravanganza before the 2nd day of BFF Sacramento.
Jacob (?) Santos took the trick jam.
www.lockedcog.com is going to have more exclusive photos up soon and a full edit.
The informal after-party for BFF Sacramento 2010 was at Brad's place. This guy approached once I pulled my camera out and started asking questions. I love people like that who take initiative when they're getting into something. He's taking photo 101 next semester and just bought a camera. Best of luck to him!
Can you reverse engineer this. Prettttty easy one.
As I was on my way out the door this evening, I found my neighbor's cat searching for freedom.
Today I wandered. Just wandered about on my bike for all of about fifteen minutes. It felt really good.
